We are a chorus of women who just love to sing and enjoy being a part of something special. Our Chorus provides a chance to combine your love of singing with great new friends of all ages!
You might have a little musical experience, or maybe you have a lot - there is a place for everyone. No formal musical training is required! You don't even need to be able to read music...you can learn by listening to taped music - many of our members do! Being a part of this chorus will give you the training you need. Our Director, Patty Welser, has been named a Certified Director by Sweet Adelines International and will guide you in your learning experience. Afraid your voice is too high or too low? Not to worry! A four-part chorus allows you to find the voice part that is just right for you. We sing in Tenor, Lead, Baritone and Bass parts. And nobody will make you sing solo...so don't be shy! Our Section Leaders will assist you in learning your part amongst the group.
Once you are a member of the Chorus, you will get the chance to sing and perform for audiences within the Erie area and be a part of our annual stage show. Costumes, lights, music...and the magic of an audience...it's the best time ever!
How to Join Us:
Come to an informational session and see what Flagship City Show Chorus is all about! Sessions are held on the last Monday of each month fromMonday 7:30during -our 9:30regular p.m.rehearsals at Trinity Lutheran Church (basement) 14 E. 38th, Erie, PA. Please contact us to register for your session so that we may have proper materials ready for you! Other Mondays are available by appointment.
